IronPlanet Completes $2.7 Million Online Auction

PLEASANTON, Calif. – Nov. 3, 2006 – IronPlanet (www.ironplanet.com), the third-largest heavy equipment auction company in North America, sold nearly $3 million of equipment and trucks during its Nov. 2 auction.

Almost 7,000 auction attendees from across the U.S. and 17 other countries registered to bid on over 200 truck and construction equipment items at the online auction. A 2004 Caterpillar 322CL track excavator located in Virginia sold to the highest bidder in Oklahoma for $122,000. Thirty-two bidders competed for a 1996 Bobcat 863 skid-steer loader that sold to the highest bidder for $9,500. A buyer in Oregon won a 1997 Caterpillar D6MXL located in North Carolina for the highest bid of $60,000.
