Buyer in Canada Wins Two Scissor Lifts at IronPlanet Auction

PLEASANTON, Calif. – March 10, 2006 – IronPlanet (www.ironplanet.com), the third-largest auction company of heavy equipment in North America, sold $4.7 million of equipment and trucks in its March 9 auction.

A buyer located in Canada won two 2000 Upright LX 31 scissor lifts located in California. The highest bid for each machine was $6,700.

Over 8,000 registered auction attendees from across the U.S. and 13 other countries participated in the unreserved online auction. A 2002 Caterpillar D6R LGP sold for $162,000. Forty-four bidders competed for a 1995 Ford F350 XL that sold for $7,000. A 2001 Caterpillar 330BL located in New Hampshire sold to a buyer in United Arab Emirates for $92,000.
