John O’Sullivan joins IronPlanet Australia

PLEASANTON, Calif. — August 17, 2009 — IronPlanet® (www.ironplanet.com), the world’s leading online auction company for used construction and agricultural equipment, recently appointed John O’Sullivan to the position of sales director for IronPlanet in the Australia and Asia Pacific regions. O’Sullivan will be responsible for IronPlanet’s continued growth in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.

Before joining IronPlanet, O’Sullivan worked for 15 years in the auction industry as managing director for Worldwide Auctioneers in Australia and managing director for DoveBid in Australia. O’Sullivan also held the position of senior manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Go Industry. O’Sullivan graduated from the Western School of Auctioneering in Billings, Montana.
