The odometer reads 156,980 miles but there is writing that states the meter was changed out at 120,120 miles. The engine started and ran. The drivetrain engaged in forward and reverse. The hydraulic system was operational. The inspector noted, when the hydraulic system actuated the pump turned but produced an abnormal sound. The main components appear to be in place and operational.

IronPlanet became a licensed vehicle dealer in the State of California to offer more services to our California customers, such as processing vehicle registrations at the CA Department of Motor Vehicle.
However, being a dealer means that any on-road item IronPlanet sells to our California retail customers (non-dealers) must meet the state's rigorous emission (smog), weight, VIN verification and safety requirements. IronPlanet cannot make these assurances on out-of-state vehicles. Therefore, we are required to make available to our retail California customers only those items that are already California-titled. In this way, IronPlanet can meet our legal requirement as a California Dealer and assure our California customers their purchases can be registered without issue in California.
Buyers outside California are not subject to these restrictions.
California Dealers can purchase out-of-state vehicles because they are buying the vehicle for resale and will by law be responsible for the smog, VIN etc. requirements when they make their subsequent sale to a California retail customer.
