Job Description:

The open position is for a marketing manager with proven experience in implementing and tracking web-based and offline marketing communications programs.

Responsibilities:

The Program Manager will be a key contributor to the development of IronPlanet's overall auction marketing strategy and will help integrate the strategy into all projects within the marketing plan. The marketing manager is responsible for all aspects of the tactical execution of the marketing communications programs including advertising and direct marketing both online and offline. The marketing manager is responsible for establishing metrics to assess the impact of all marketing programs and determine return on investment.

Specific Activities:

• Develop and execute CRM strategies and tactics to engage IronPlanet customers and prospects - driving new IronPlanet registrations as well as driving buyer activity for IronPlanet Auctions
• Plan, place and assess the effectiveness of all online and offline advertising campaigns
• Plan, create, execute and assess the effectiveness of email and direct mail campaigns
• Plan, execute and assess the effectiveness of search engine marketing
• Provide regular updates on progress towards attainment of strategic goals
• Lead selection process and management of external agencies and partners as required to support auction marketing activities
• As required provide input on other IronPlanet outgoing communications, ie presentations, collateral, web content, case studies, etc.
• Utilize ROI tracking of all marketing investments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of marketing experience
• Experience in both online and offline marketing tools and techniques as well as their effectiveness
• Construction industry and/or auction experience a plus
