Position: Territory Sales Manager
Locations: Various locations in the US, specifically looking for Idaho, Eastern Washington, Western Montana, Nebraska and Kansas.

Corporate Culture:

IronPlanet creates a marketplace by bringing buyers and sellers together on-line in a live auction environment. The culture is one of hard work and good rewards. People are empowered. It hosts several types of auction formats, but generally sells used heavy equipment through Featured Auctions which sellers will consign their equipment to be sold in an unreserved live internet auction. With over 400 thousand registrants on the site, IronPlanet's Featured Auctions reach a global audience and typically yield 14 thousand potential bidders per auction on average.


Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for advising customers in consigning equipment to IronPlanet Limited's featured and owner-offered auctions primarily from OEMs, large end-users/contractors, dealers, rental companies and other sellers; visiting and recommending preparing packages of equipment to be sold, attending trade shows/events, and helping to build awareness of IronPlanet for both buyers and sellers throughout Europe.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years successful outside sales and customer service experience in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Must have excellent communication, presentation and organization skills.
  • Must be persistent, energetic, and entrepreneurial.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be willing to travel.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Compensation:

An attractive base salary plus commission.
