Gregory J. Owens Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Greg is responsible for IronPlanet's development, refinement and execution of the company's
overall business strategy and tactics. Prior to joining IronPlanet, Greg served as Managing
Director at Red Zone Capital, a Washington, D.C. private equity firm focused on strong revenue
growth opportunities. Prior to that time, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Manugistics Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:MANU), where he doubled annual revenues to $300 million for
the supply chain management software company. Before that, he served as Global Managing Partner,
Supply Chain Management at Accenture (NYSE:ACN) where he was a founding member of the
company's supply chain group. Greg also serves, or has served, on several outside boards
including Serena Software, Inc., S1 Corporation and SecureWorks, Inc. Greg brings to IronPlanet
many years of experience and proven results in revenue growth and supply chain business
management.
Greg holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and serves on
the President's Advisory Board as well as the College of Management Board.
Michael J. O'Donnell Chief Financial Officer
Michael is responsible for IronPlanet's financial management and for developing the
infrastructure to support the continued growth of the company's business.
Prior to joining IronPlanet, Michael served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating
Officer for Procuri Inc., a leading on-demand supply management software company. At Procuri,
he helped gain significant growth results and achieved a highly successful outcome for
investors in a sale to a strategic entity. Michael brings 25 years of financial and business
management experience to IronPlanet, including positions as Managing Director with Price
Waterhouse Corporate Finance and SunTrust Capital Markets, where he also led the merger and
acquisition advisory group.
Michael holds a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
Jeffrey L. Barca-Hall Senior Vice President, Engineering and Chief Technology Officer
Jeff is responsible for the development and operation of IronPlanet's website and applications,
including the company's proprietary auction software. Prior to joining IronPlanet, Jeff was the
Chief Technology Officer for Inprise/Borland Corporation. During his tenure at Inprise/Borland,
Jeff was responsible for a research and development organization consisting of more than 250 people
that produced award-winning software products, generating a combined annual revenue approaching
$200 million. Jeff brings to IronPlanet many years of experience in software engineering and
management with Inprise/Borland, Netscape (prior to its acquisition by America Online), Symantec,
Rapid Enterprise (a start-up which he co-founded) and DataEase.
Jeff graduated with a B.A. in Engineering Sciences from Yale University.
James J. Jeter Executive Vice President
Jeff is responsible for leading IronPlanet's international and new business planning activities including
identifying strategic initiatives, developing operational strategies, and leading new market
launch initiatives. Prior to joining IronPlanet, he served as Senior Principal at PRTM
Management Consultants where he helped lead PRTM's customer experience consulting for Fortune 1000 companies.
Prior to joining PRTM, Jeff was Senior Vice President of Marketing for Manugistics, a leading
supply chain management software company. While there, he executed Manugistics' global
marketing strategies and managed the company's new business development and sales operations
initiatives. Jeff brings more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and
international business to IronPlanet, including two international assignments for Iomega,
a wholly owned subsidiary of EMC Corporation and leader in innovative storage and network
security solutions for small businesses, home offices and consumers. As Managing Director for
Iomega's Asia-Pacific and European operations, he was a significant contributor to the growth of
the company's $500 million European business.
Jeff holds a B.A. from Wake Forest University and an M.B.A. from Mercer University.
Douglas P. Feick General Counsel
Doug is responsible for IronPlanet's worldwide legal matters, including commercial transactions,
corporate governance, intellectual property, litigation, as well as regulatory compliance. Prior to
joining IronPlanet, Doug served as Executive Vice President, Business Affairs and General Counsel
at ChoiceStream, Inc. where he managed all legal matters and was responsible for business and
corporate development activities, including strategic partner negotiations, pricing and deal
structuring. Prior to ChoiceStream, Doug was Vice President, Corporate Development and Associate
General Counsel, International at Yahoo!, Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) where he first established and managed
Yahoo!'s international legal group and then co-ran Yahoo!'s domestic and international corporate
development activities. He brings to IronPlanet more than 20 years of legal and business
experience, including many years as primary outside counsel to a variety of high-growth internet,
software and technology companies.
Doug graduate with a B.S. in Business Administration from Miami University and a J.D. from the
University of Southern California. Doug is a member of the State Bar of California.
Randall E. Berry Senior Vice President, Operations and Services
Randy is responsible for IronPlanet's inspection services organization and equipment appraisal
services. Prior to joining IronPlanet, Randy served as a Partner at Accenture (NYSE:ACN) for
the firm's supply chain management consulting practice. Randy brings more than 25 years of
experience improving business performance in Fortune 1000 companies to IronPlanet, including
an operations management position with Apple, as well as a role in new business development
for the world's largest valuation consulting firm, American Appraisal.
Randy graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Michael D. Groves Senior Vice President, Sales
Mike is responsible for the continued growth of IronPlanet auctions in the U.S., Canada and
Mexico. Prior to joining IronPlanet, Mike served as Vice President and General Manager of
Forke Brothers and Division Manager of Ritchie Brothers. Mike also held the position of
Regional Used Equipment Manager for Nortrax Southeast. He brings more than 30 years of
experience in equipment sales to IronPlanet, including 11 years of auction industry
experience.
H. Andrew Pyron Vice President, Major Accounts
Andy is responsible for development and growth of major account sales within North America at
IronPlanet. He leads a vertically aligned sales organization that provides interface between
our North American sales team and major accounts corporate management. Prior to joining
IronPlanet, Andy was Vice President of Business Development for Linc.net and Vice President
of Equipment Services at MasTec, leading specialty contractors in the communications,
utility and energy infrastructure services industry with sales in excess of $500M and $1.5B
respectively. He has over 25 years of sales and management experience including 10 years in
the auction industry.
Tom R. Cornell Managing Director, EMEA
Tom is responsible for establishing and growing operations in Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to joining IronPlanet, Tom served as the Managing Director for JCB Construction
Machinery Co. Ltd. in Shanghai, where he was responsible for creating JCB's overall business
strategy for China as well as developing a product and distribution strategy. Under Tom's
leadership, the Shanghai facility doubled its output volume and grew plant revenue by
115 percent in his first year. Tom brings more than 10 years of experience in product and
marketing management and international business, including a position as General Manager of
JCB do Brasil Ltda., where he launched JCB's first overseas production facility in a
non-English speaking country.
Tom graduated with a B.A. in Marketing from Newcastle University.
Matthew J. Bousky Vice President, Sales EMEA
Matt is charged with the continued growth, development and management of the European sales
team. Matt and his team are responsible for IronPlanet's ongoing market penetration and sales
growth in the European marketplace. Matt was the first Sales Associate at IronPlanet, and
since then, he has helped IronPlanet build its global sales team from the ground up. Prior to
joining IronPlanet, Matt was a District Sales Manager at Caterpillar, Inc. where he managed
dealer relationships and provided programs to help maximize their performance and profitability.
In addition to District Sales Manager, he served as a Product Specialist for wheel loaders
helping to launch the CAT G-Series, and as a business analyst developing pricing strategies for
parts and machinery. Matt brings more than 20 years of experience in equipment sales, finance
and product development to IronPlanet.
Matt graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. in finance and marketing.
Stephen A. Kendrick Managing Director, IronPlanet Motors
Steve is responsible for establishing and growing the sales and operations of IronPlanet's
automotive and powersports business - IronPlanet Motors. Prior to joining IronPlanet, Steve
served as a Partner and Global Operations Lead for Supply Chain Services at Accenture (NYSE:ACN),
where he successfully launched Accenture's Supply Chain Outsourcing business. Steve brings more
than 25 years of international business experience focused on driving revenue growth and
improving supply chain management capabilities in Fortune 1000 companies to IronPlanet,
including a Group Vice President position with JDA, a leading supply chain management software
company.
Steve holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A.
from University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Paul C. Blalock Vice President, Sales
Paul is responsible for expanding IronPlanet's presence in the agriculture, powersports and
truck markets. Prior to joining IronPlanet, Paul founded Digital Freight Inc., a successful
online transportation marketplace bringing together logistics providers and shippers in an
auction environment. Paul brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience to
IronPlanet, including 10 years in sales management positions with J.B. Hunt Transport Inc.
Paul holds a B.A. in Marketing from Auburn University.
