Owens - IronPlanet President, CEO and Chairman of the BoardGreg is responsible for IronPlanet's development, refinement and execution of the company's overall business strategy and tactics. Prior to joining IronPlanet, Greg served as Managing Director at Red Zone Capital, a Washington, D.C. private equity firm focused on strong revenue growth opportunities. Prior to that time, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Manugistics Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:MANU), where he doubled annual revenues to $300 million for the supply chain management software company. Before that, he served as Global Managing Partner Supply Chain Management at Accenture (NYSE:ACN) where he was a founding member of their supply chain group. Greg also serves, or has served, on several outside boards including Serena Software, Inc., S1 Corporation and SecureWorks, Inc. Greg brings to IronPlanet many years of experience and proven results in revenue growth and supply chain business management. Greg holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and serves on the President's Advisory Board as well as the College of Management Board. Ted Schlein - Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Ted is a Managing Partner at the venture capital firm of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB). He serves on the board of ArcSight, ENDFORCE, Evant, Fortify Software, IronPlanet, Ketera Technologies, Oakley Networks, and oversees the company's interest in Internet Security Systems and New Vine Logistics. Additionally, Ted serves on the board of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). Since its founding in 1972, KPCB has backed entrepreneurs in 450 ventures, including AOL, Align, Amazon.com, Citrix, Compaq Computer, Electronic Arts, Genentech, Genomic Health, Google, IDEC Pharmaceuticals, Intuit, Juniper Networks, Netscape, Lotus, LSI Logic, Sun Microsystems, Symantec, Verisign and Xilinx. More than 150 of the firm's portfolio companies have gone public. Many other ventures have achieved success through mergers and acquisitions.
Arthur is a General Partner at the venture capital firm of Accel Partners. Arthur works closely with startup entrepreneurial teams in the areas of Enterprise Software and Communication Services. As a Director and lead investor he has helped a number of companies in each area to become public companies. Accel Partners is dedicated to helping outstanding entrepreneurs build world-class technology companies. Accel's contributions extend well beyond financing and include strategic guidance, recruiting, business development and partnering. Tom Frautschy, President, Caterpillar Redistribution Services Inc. Tom Frautschy is President of Caterpillar Redistribution Services Inc. and Vice President of Caterpillar Financial Products Division (FPD) Remarketing and Marketing. In his role, Tom provides financial and strategic leadership, as well as oversight of Caterpillar's global machine remarketing operations and FPD's marketing functions. He serves as a member of the Caterpillar FPD Business Excellence Council. Tom joined Caterpillar in 1973. He served in a variety of field and staff support jobs in machine sales and marketing throughout North America for eleven years. He moved to Melbourne, Australia in 1984 and held several machine sales and marketing management positions with responsibility for Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. He moved to Peoria, Illinois in 1989 and had responsibility for leading several teams focused on market segments in paving, forestry, agriculture, general construction and rental services. In 1999, Tom was named NACD's Western Region Manager with responsibility for dealer administration and development for 20 dealers in the western part of the United States. He moved to his current position in January 2006. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois and completed an Executive Program Business Administration degree in Managing the Enterprise at Columbia University in 1992. Caterpillar Inc. (www.cat.com) is a technology leader and the world's largest manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines. Timothy S. Tripas - Vice President of Operations, Komatsu Financial Timothy S. Tripas is the Vice President of Operations for Komatsu Financial, the financial arm for Komatsu America, the second largest supplier and manufacturer of construction, mining and utility equipment worldwide. In his current role, he is responsible for the management and administration of a financed portfolio in excess of two billion dollars. Tim joined Komatsu Financial in 1991 as an Assistant Finance Representative and has held positions of increasing responsibility within the organization. In 2003, he moved to Brussels, Belgium to work with Komatsu Europe, where he participated in the development and launch of their captive finance company, Komatsu Finance Europe. After his return, Tim accepted his current position of Vice President of Operations. In addition to these responsibilities, Tim is a member of the Komatsu Remarketing Dealer Advisory Council Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Drake University in Des Moines, IA.
